What is humanistic psychology?

As human beings, we come to this world with a good intention to become fully functional individuals. Humanistic psychology is about understanding human potential and helping individuals achieve that goal.

Humanistic psychologists aim to study and research the best path to help you achieve freedom and autonomy. They also aim to discover the motivation behind behaviors to help you achieve your goals and discover what you are meant to do in life.

Humanistic psychology is about understanding the whole person, body, mind, and spirit and how they help you become the best version of yourself. It is also about focusing on building your inner strengths so that no matter what happens from the outside, you will always be able to overcome challenges and keep moving forward to reach your full potential.

Using humanistic principles, Dr. Tran teaches and guides individuals to develop and live authentic lives filled with meaning, purpose, joy, and happiness. Dr. Tran uses three models to guide her work. 1) The Hierarchy of Needs (Self-Actualization), 2) The Life Purpose Pyramid, and 3) The Life Success Formula.
